With the goal being a smooth and successful transaction, Shayla incorporates her clients’ needs and preferences into her marketing strategies.  As a long-time contract manager with the State of New York, Shayla wrote technical contracts and negotiated multi-million-dollar agreements.  The fine print can be overwhelming, but with her skillset, you can rely on her keen eye for details.  Being a prior active-duty officer in the US Marine Corps, Shayla knows how to lead and be assertive; she will negotiate based on the best interests and requirements of her clients.

Having the personal experience of buying and selling her own homes, Shayla understands what an important life event this is.  From gutting a home down to the studs in order to make luxurious upgrades, or stretching the smallest budget to update a home, Shayla has done it.  What sets Shayla apart in the real estate industry is the insight she offers home sellers on how to best present a home to the buying public.

Growing up in Menands and choosing to return to the capital district after college and military service, Shayla lives in Ballston Spa with her husband, a cybersecurity guru, and three daughters who are competitive dancers and talented athletes.  She favors living in the Capital Region because of the varying seasons and geography, public school systems, and diverse population.
Shayla earned a degree in accounting which allows her to calculate the best value for potential sales and purchases.  Her second degree, in Marketing, provides for top-notch networking and exposure for selling and buying your home.
